Here, you’ll find helpful info about my photo session pricing and packages. And I want to fill you in on some of the details that make our time together extra special. Let’s create something beautiful and meaningful together!

I know that investing in a photo session can be a big deal, both in terms of time and money. It’s important to find someone who not only gets how special these moments are, but also has customized their sessions to guarantee an outstanding experience for you. Here’s what you can expect from mine:

The Beginning of Our Journey

A non-refundable session fee*** is due at time of booking. This allows me to customize your full experience; along with secures your session date on my calendar.

***Please note, the session fee is not applied to your final collection purchase and does not include digital images or products. Digital images and prints are purchased separately; once you see your final images. This allows you to choose the package that will be the best fit for your family’s needs. What are the benefits of having the session fee payment separate from image collection purchases?

I enjoy working together with my clients to create the best sessions. With separate a session fee from the option to buy specific pictures later, you can customize your experience based on what you like and what you can spend. No need for large payments in advance! You can choose your favorite photos after seeing what I’ve captured. My aim is to give you a personalized and fun photography session, making sure your memories are exactly as you want them. It’s all about your photos, your way!

Fill out my contact form and within 1-2 business days I’ll send over a more info so we can start the booking process.

Prepare for your Session

I’ll provide plenty of information and support (including a styling consult + a prep guide) along the way to ensure that you’re all set for your photo session , your questions are answered, and you feel comfortable in front of the lens.

Hooray! It’s Session Day

The day has arrived and it’s time to get those amazing photos you’ve been dreaming of. All our preparation has paid off; we get to hang out, relax, and enjoy our time documenting memories together!

After your Session – Gallery Delivery

I lovingly edit each photo and upload them to an online gallery. Once you view your images you can purchase collections of digital photos and/or print products. Collections begin at $375. Average total investment is $750.

GOT SOME QUESTIONS?

I offer lifestyle photography services for family and motherhood portraits (this includes maternity and newborn sessions). I like to take a relaxed, and natural approach during my sessions. While I do pose my clients, I try to do so in a way that doesn’t feel too forced or non-genuine. As for my editing techniques, I love bright and well-lit photographs; full of color.

Working as a preschool teacher for 10 years and a mother for 5 years has provided me with valuable skills that I have been applying to my family photography since 2020. I am familiar with supporting children and understand how to engage and connect with them, resulting in natural and authentic family photos. Additionally, I have learned how to create a comfortable and relaxed session environment, which is essential in bringing out the best in each family member. Overall, my experience working with children and families, combined with my photography skills, makes me a great fit for families looking for a photographer in Annapolis.

I charge a (non-refundable) session fee, which covers my time and talent, as well as any pre-session consultations and post-processing of your images. No digital images or products are included, and the session fee is NOT applied to your collection cost.

After the session, I offer a selection of collections you may purchase, separately, so you can choose what best fits your needs and budget. They include a certain number of digital images plus a complementary print credit.

I take great care going over all of your images and spend some time looking through to narrow down your gallery to the best of the best images. Because my sessions are moment based, I pick the best moments to edit and share with you. I do guarantee at least 40 images in your gallery to choose from. I do not release RAW or unedited images.

Absolutely! We will work together to choose a location from a list of my preferred locations in the Bowie area including places like Kinder Farm Park, Patapsco State Park, and Beverly Triton Nature Park. Locations that are not listed or have a drive time beyond 30 minutes from 20715 will be subject to an additional travel fee (this is a nominal fee to allow for addt’l gas, driving, and scouting time), and possible permit fees.*

*I do not currently offer sessions at Monuments/Memorials in Washington DC/Alexandria.

My outdoor sessions are scheduled for sunset (and occasionally sunrise). I do not shoot midday as it doesn’t align with my artistic preferences. (I know in the spring and summer months, this is often past kids’ bedtimes. I want to reassure you, that with some minor adjustments, I find that young children almost always do very well; regardless of the later time. Don’t let this fear alone prevent you from booking.) Studio and in-home sessions are scheduled around 10 am.

For ALL sessions: I recommend getting on my schedule a minumum of 2 months ahead of time. My session dates are limited and fill up quickly. This also ensures we have ample time to plan and acquire any permits and necessary outfit pieces.

Addt’ly for newborn sessions: We’ll schedule for on, or around, your due date. Once you and your baby are home safe and sound, please contact me immediately to let me know the wonderful news. I will work closely with you to find a day and time that works for everyone. I aim for about 10-14 days after birth.

Addt’ly for maternity sessions: I recommend that mamas schedule their session at the beginning of the third trimester. Right around 30-35 weeks.

Yes, sunset light is beautiful. But overcast skies provide lovely even light and can add a layer of emotion, too. What’s most important to me is that I highlight your family’s loving connections; I want that to be the focus in your images. I will of course prioritize the best weather for your session, as my schedule allows. I will not reschedule for humidity, cloudy skies, wind, or rain earlier in the day. I will reschedule if it is actively raining/storming during your session. My Weather Policy
 

If I feel we need to reschedule your session, I will reach out to you by 2 pm EST on the day of your session.

Please reach out to me to reschedule if you or your kids are sick. As a mom as well, I want to prioritize my family’s health and protect my children from sickness too. Plus we don’t want to document you all looking sick in your pictures. Take time to get better, and we will absolutely make up your session.

I love spending time with my clients and providing galleries that highlight beautiful and emotional family moments. This happens much more naturally when we allow time and space for it during a full session. I do plan to offer very special mini session events a few times a year. I recommend signing up on my email list, so you can be first to know when these become available.
