Hi, I’m Erin. I’m an outdoor family photographer serving Howard County, MD — creating sessions that feel relaxed, real, and true to your family.

I love working with families who want to be outside, moving around, and just enjoying each other. My go-to spot for outdoor family photography in Howard County is Howard County Conservancy. It’s got open fields, wooded paths, and that soft evening light that makes everything feel a little magical. It’s one of those places that looks great no matter the season.

Lifestyle photography is less about posing and more about documenting real moments. The way your kids run toward each other, the way you laugh together, the in-between stuff that actually makes up your life. I’ll give gentle direction when needed, but mostly I’m there to follow your family’s lead and find the moments worth holding onto.

Coordinated but not matchy-matchy is the sweet spot. Think combinations of earth tones and neutrals that complement each other rather than identical outfits. I also have a client closet with adult dresses if you need some help pulling a look together. And before your session we’ll connect over a Google Meet styling consult so you feel totally prepared walking in.

My favorite spot in Howard County is Howard County Conservancy — open fields, wooded paths, and gorgeous light. I’ll help you pick the best time of year and time of day based on your family and what you’re going for.

100%. As a mom and former pre-K teacher, I genuinely love working with little ones. I’m not the kind of photographer who needs everyone to sit still and smile. Running, climbing, being silly — that’s where the best moments come from. We work with your kids’ energy, not against it.

Most sessions run about an hour, and kids genuinely do really well with that amount of time outdoors. I’m not watching the clock though, I work until we’ve got what your family needs. And when the kids are done, we’re done. No pressure to push through when everyone’s hit their limit.

Yes! In addition to lifestyle family sessions, I also photograph maternity and newborn sessions throughout the Crofton and Anne Arundel County area. Many families book all three to document the whole journey.
